We are very pleased that our school was awarded a 'good' grading by OFSTED in June 2015 with 'Behaviour and Safety of pupils' recognised as outstanding.
As we converted to an academy on 1st April 2019 we will be due a full inspection from April 2022 (although this may be delayed due to COVID19. This will be a full section 5 inspection which will take place under the new OFSTED framework where we hope to evidence that our school is outstanding.
A summary of the key findings in our last inspection are:
- 'Teachers successfully strive hard to challenge, engage and interest pupils in lessons.'
- 'Pupils' enthusiasm to learn and motivation to achieve well creates a vibrant atmosphere around the school'. 'Their behaviour in and out of lessons is excellent.'
- 'Governors are highly effective. They know the school well, challenge leaders regularly and monitor improvements closely.'
- 'Pupils' social, moral, spiritual and cutural development is a strength. The school is an extremely caring place where pupils are kept safe and every pupil's welfare matters greatly'.
