Children's Achievements 2024/25
Our school behaviour policy focuses on the three rules of: Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe.
We recognise and value children's achievements across the school, in a variety of ways. Pupils who have high expectations of their own behaviour and who work to the best of their ability can have their name added to the 'over and above board', receive team tokens, a gold book award or a Headteacher's award. Each week a star of the week is chosen for their hard work and effort linked to our school values of Inspire, Challenge and Succeed.
At the end of every half-term each teacher nominates a star of the half-term to someone in their class who has consistently tried hard, challenged themselves and shown excellent behaviour. This award is given out in celebration assembly along with a certificate and a trophy.
At the end of each year, class teachers nominate a star of the year to someone who has been an absolute superstar for the entire year. This is a pupil who consistently shows our school values, who tries their hardest every day and makes us very proud that they are part of our school community. There is also a Headteacher award that is given to one child per year group at the end of each year.
Head Boy and Head Girl
Each year we nominate a Head Boy and Head Girl team. These pupil's help lead our Pupil Parliament, show visitors around the school and work closely with the SLT to improve our school.
