Year 4 Homework Spellings and Timestables

Year 4 Homework

 

Reading 

We expect the children to read at least three times a week for a minimum of 10 minutes in Year 4.  They should record this in their school planners. We ask parents to sign this weekly.

 

Spellings homework

Children will be explicitly taught spelling rules within class. Spellings will be sent home and tested the following week.

 

Maths homework 

Maths times tables homework will be set every Monday and will be tested the following week

Children are expected to complete and enjoy the challenges that are regularly on TTRS https://www.ttrockstars.com/ 

 

 

Rewards and Recognitions

House tokens and later purple pounds will be awarded for all pieces of homework that are completed and headteacher awards will be given to those children who go above expectations.
