After school club information

We are very proud to offer a range of after school clubs at Bedgrove Junior. Our clubs start at 3:15pm when the school day finishes. 

Our club letters are sent out in the last week of each term and the clubs run for the next entire term.  After school clubs are charged at £3.00 per club per week and run from 3:15 - 4:15pm. We also offer clubs run by external providers and these are charged separately. 

Pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium funding or Service Premium Funding are offered one free club per term. At different times of the year, some (invite only) clubs will be free. If your child is selected to represent the school at a sporting event or is part of a squad (eg- Netball), this will be charged for as other after school clubs. 

School clubs are paid for using our online ARBOR portal.

Spice Club - Breakfast and After School Club

SPICE club is our in-school wraparound care service provided for parents/carers before and after school.  SPICE club runs everyday from 7:30am – 8:45am before school and 3:15pm – 5:15pm after school.  It will take place in the school hall or during the summer months outside on the playground and adventure play equipment. Children should be dropped off and collected by the side doors of the school hall or the gates to the year 6 playground if they are outside.   

We are happy for children to be dropped off anytime between 7:30 – 8:45am and  collected anytime between 3:15 – 5:15pm; however a full session cost will apply in all cases, even if they are only with us for a short-time.  This is in line with all other wraparound care providers.

SPICE club is booked and paid for using our online ARBOR system. At a cost of £5.00 per session which is extremely competitive and we believe excellent value for money.

Please note, late pick ups, after 5:15pm, will be charged at £5 per child up to the first 15 minutes and then £5 per child per 15 minutes thereafter. This is to cover the additional staff costs incurred.
